Alexander and Lolly. (In a
note Gloria sent to Lolly and Charles dated 4/10/89 she writes
"I've often thought about all the good times we had when were
growing up. It seems like my folks never had a good garden because
if the gophers didn't get it, the hail did and I always remember going
out to Aunt Ora's garden with a salt shaker and pigging out.")

Judy (Troxel) Gould relates the
following story about this car.
Her Dad and some of his co-workers routinely poached deer and elk. She
doesn't know whether it was out of season or in season w/o license or
both. One time in Nebraska, they heard/saw the game warden coming
to where they were skinning their game, so they jumped in her Dad's car
and tried to outrun him. They were successful, but he fired after them
and one bullet hit the trunk. A year or two later, her dad was trying to
sell the car. He was extolling its virtues to a potential buyer when she
asked him if he'd shown the man the bullet hole in the trunk! Judy
doesn't personally remember the occasion, but her Dad told the story
often.
