Redman of Pocatello, Idaho, Charlie and Will of Cora, Essie of Riverton, and Frank of St. John, British Columbia, all of which are living and who together with the husband and father are left mourn the loss.Mr. Alexander with his family moved to this state 30 years ago settling on the ranch above Cora, which since that time has been their home and where they have lived amid a wide circle of friends and acquaintances. Grandma Alexander was a woman of sterling character, always standing for principles of truth, honor and integrity; she was hospitable to rich and poor alike and was always ready to respond when the call for help came in either sickness or death. She was an enthusiastic lover of nature and had transformed her mountain home into a perfect bower of beauty, where she spent many pleasant days among her flowers and shrubs. She will be greatly missed by a host of friends and especially in the family circle by children and grandchildren who were a source of joy and delight to her. The sympathy of the entire community goes out to "Grandpa" Alexander who is left in his declining years, being now past 80, without the help and comfort and companship (sic) of her who for more than a half century has been his bosom companion. |
