Permit No. 816. "Permit of Local Registrar of Vital Statistics.
This
permit must be properly signed and presented, together with embalmer's
certificate, to the railroad, express or other transportation agent
before a body can be shipped. Seattle, County of King, Washington,
March 2?, 1925. Permission is hereby given O. F. Kline, Home
Undertaking Co., holder of Washington Embalmer's License No. 177, to
remove for burial at Cora, in the county of ______, State of Wyoming,
the body of Frank Alexander, who died at Seattle, County of King, State
of Washington, on the 24th day of March, 1925, Aged 50 years, 0 months,
7 days. Sex - male. Color - white. The cause of death
being Typhoid fever, which necessitates shipment under Rule 3 of the
Rules of the Washington State Board of Embalmer's for the transportation
of the dead, as printed on the back of this permit." Signed

Wyoming Man Dies Here - Frank Alexander, 50 years old, died last night at the local hospital after an illness of five weeks. The body will be sent by the Home Undertaking Company tonight to Cora, Wyo., for burial. Mr.
Alexander was born in South Dakota, and until a short time ago owned a ranch in Cora. Following the sale of his ranch he went to Canada to look over several stock ranches there, and was returning to Cora by way of Seattle when he was stricken. (stamped March 25, 1925)

Gravestone
of Eugene, Nancy Alexander and son, Frank, who are buried on the
original homestead near Cora, Wyoming. Grave site is fenced with a
gate on a knoll west of the where their house was. C.F."Bill"
Alexander arranged for the stone which was set in the 1960's. Picture
taken October, 1997. -
