Hiking
and Backpacking and Mountain Biking (equipment not furnished). The Ramshorn Ranch borders the Shoshone
National Forest, nestled between the Wind River and Absaroka Mountain ranges.

Backcountry Skiing and
Snowboarding opportunities in
June depending on snow pack conditions. Must have avalanche skills
and tools because skiing is not guided. Fishing. Nearby lakes and streams offer trout fishing.

Wildlife Viewing. The Ramshorn Guest Ranch is surrounded by two open meadows which deer and moose
frequently cross. Listen to and view a pair of sandhill cranes that call the ranch their
home year after year.

Rock Hunting. For Rock Hounds, there is an abundance of agate and some petrified wood.
A recreation cabin contains a pool table and lots of games to play as well as books to read.
